The penultimate qualifying competition for the World Class Development Programme Championship was held on 13th March at Towerlands Park.

The competition, which is open to riders aged 23 years or under, attracted twenty five entries at this Premier Show and with an up to height course, built by David Cole, produced a very good competition with nine clear rounds through to the jump off.

Joe is the son of World Class Dressage Performance Manager and international dressage rider Richard Davison,. Second and third places went to World Class Development rider Sam Hutton riding Olympia III, owned by Sharifa Al Homaizi and Astral 57 both clear with times of 36.09 and 37.02 respectively.

Still heading the points table is Junior European Gold Medallist, Carian Scudamore with 82 points and after winning the qualifying class at Towerlands Park, Joe Davison moves into second place with 66 points, followed in equal third place by Abbie Squires and Sam Hutton, both on 53 points.
