WCF / easibed Winter Dressage Championships 2006-2007

As dressage grows in popularity, one of the UK’s most popular championship series – the WCF/easibed Winter Dressage Championships - is being jointly sponsored for the 2006-2007 winter season by easibed and WCF Country Centres.

Venues across the North of England and Southern Scotland are hosting qualifiers and there are over 80 dates on which to qualify for the three prestigious championships, culminating in the Championship Finals at Blackdyke Farm Riding and Competition Centre, Cumbria on 22nd April 2007.

The response to the series has been overwhelming, with the qualifying competitions proving extremely popular. Over 500 horse and rider combinations are expected to qualify (qualifying rosette pictured) for an invitation to the championships at both novice and elementary levels.

With well over £1000 worth of prizes on offer for everyone in the top 10, plus special prizes for the highest placed mares and riders aged 16 or under, this rapidly growing series will demonstrate the popularity of dressage at what promises to be one of the largest championships in the region.

For the first time, an unaffiliated novice series has been included in the Championship schedule, and in addition to the superb prizes up for grabs, all the unaffiliated starters in the championship will receive a British Dressage Class ticket.
